Our Slack Rules
- Act appropriately towards other members. This Slack group is a global & diverse community of IT professionals. If what you’re about to say might offend, don’t say it. We have zero tolerance for sexism, racism, ageism, bullying, stalking, etc. We do tolerate mansplaining, at least to a point. 😉
- Be honest about products & sponsors. We are 100% okay if you share a bad experience about a vendor who happens to be sponsor. You will never be booted for sharing a negative experience. We want you to share what actually happened, because that benefits the community–vendors included.
- Do not self-promote. If you want to market to our audience, become a sponsor like hundreds of other companies have done. This Slack is a marketing-free zone–a safe space where listeners can be themselves.
- Don’t make us make more rules.
